There we were, enjoying hints of spring, getting excited about the longer hours of daylight and warmth in the sun and KABOOM, winter returns with a blast of freezing Siberian air. Snowflakes have been on the wind all morning, with lots more forecast for later today and overnight. My children are desperate for there to be enough for the trains to be cancelled and school to be closed tomorrow. It rarely snows that much here but you never know. It’s possible.
